Melissa Gitelman

Melissa Gitelman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and product development. As the Head of Sales at Hat Attack since September 2006, responsibilities include managing wholesale and private label accounts as well as overseeing international clients and outside sales representatives. Additionally, Melissa is the Creator and Founder of The T Company, which began as a wholesale t-shirt collection and has expanded into a fully licensed brand across multiple product categories since November 1996. Previously, at Talbots from 1988 to 1998, Melissa served as both the Color and Fabric Research Manager, where research guided the creation of color palettes and merchandising concepts, and as the Director of Product Development, overseeing product development for casual sportswear, sweaters, and accessories. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in American Studies from Brandeis University.
