Dan Proctor

Dan Proctor is a software developer at Hatchways. Dan previously worked as a quality assurance analyst at TELUS, where they designed and built several interconnected tools in Google Apps Script to save the team over 50 labour hours a week. Dan also wrote and led training sessions on standard processes and tools they had built. Additionally, they built and programmed a spreadsheet to automate a routine quality assurance process that used to take 3 hours weekly. Prior to working at TELUS, Proctor worked as the spirit & communications commissioner at the University College Literary & Athletic Society, where they managed two teams (graphic design and blogging), designed and sold merchandise, ran the social media pages, and coordinated and sent out monthly newsletters. Dan has also held positions as the head of A/V department at First Congregational Church of Danvers and as a post production specialist at A Perfect Image Photography.

Dan Proctor completed a certificate in Full Stack Web Development from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Dan also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Cinema Studies from the University of Toronto.
