Diego Sarmiento

Diego Sarmiento has been working as a React Developer at HatchWorks since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Frontend Developer at RobinFood from August 2021 to April 2022, where they built new features for an in-house WebApp using Vue.js with OOP decorators and TypeScript. Before RobinFood, they were a Frontend Developer at PROA from September 2020 to August 2021, where they designed and built a SASS B2B product using React JS, deployed web apps using AWS Amplify, and provided technical support to non-technical individuals.

Diego Sarmiento's education history begins in 2017 when they attended LSI Language Studies International in Toronto, Canada, to study Business English. In 2019, they enrolled at DEV.F and completed the Cinta blanca HTML5, CSS3, JS program, focusing on front-end web development. In 2020, they attended Platzi and completed the Javascript School, which enhanced their software engineering skills. Additionally, in 2020, Diego obtained several certifications from Platzi, including Fundamentos de JavaScript 2018, Curso de ECMAScript 6+, Curso de Asincronismo con JavaScript, Curso Práctico de React JS, Curso de Gestión de Dependencias y Paquetes con NPM, Curso Profesional de Git y GitHub, and Curso de Frontend Developer. Currently, Diego is pursuing an MSc in Software Engineering at Universidad de Los Andes, with an expected completion date in 2023. Their field of study throughout their educational journey has primarily been focused on computer software engineering and front-end web development.
