Haugesund Kunstforening / Haugesund Art Society is a non-profit cultural organization dedicated to promoting contemporary art and visual culture in the Haugalandet region.

Founded in 1913, we are one of Norway’s oldest and most active art societies. Through a dynamic exhibition program, artist talks, workshops, and public events, we connect audiences with both emerging and established artists from Norway and abroad.

Our mission is to make art accessible, relevant, and thought-provoking – serving as a meeting place for dialogue, creativity, and cultural development.

We collaborate with national institutions, independent curators, and local partners to bring inspiring art experiences to the public, while also supporting the artistic community with professional visibility and opportunities.
