Michael Lee

Michael Lee has over 19 years of work experience in the technology industry. Michael currently serves as the Head of Engineering at HaulHub Technologies, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director of Software Engineering at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) from 2018 to 2021. In 2017, they joined Rutgers University as an Advisory Board Member for BigData@Rutgers. From 2006 to 2017, they were the VP - Software Engineering & Cloud Infrastructure at Sotheby's, where they oversaw cross-functional teams of 50+ engineers to deliver technology solutions, partnered with business leaders to define strategic product roadmaps, and evaluated SaaS, IaaS, and build-vs-buy opportunities to improve system and operations scalability. From 2005 to 2006, they were the Senior Software Engineer at IconNicholson, where they created a Proof-Of-Concept "Future of Retail" application and developed medical communication websites for Johns Hopkins. Michael began their career in 2002 as a Software Engineer at PepsiCo.

Michael Lee obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 1998 and 2002. In 2017, they attended Columbia Business School for Executive Education in Leadership Essentials. Additionally, they are certified as a Scrum Master and Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI USA.
