Omri P.

Omri P. has a diverse work experience in the fields of machine learning, artificial intelligence, data science, and computer vision. Omri currently holds the position of Head of Machine Learning / AI at Haus since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon as a Senior Applied Scientist from October 2020 to December 2021, and as an Applied Scientist from October 2017 to October 2020. Omri also served as a Lead Data Scientist at Global Risk & Data Sciences in PayPal from February 2016 to October 2017. Before that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Intensix (now CLEW Medical) from April 2015 to February 2016. Omri gained post-doctoral experience in Neuroeconomics at Tel Aviv University from February 2014 to May 2015. Furthermore, they worked as a Computer Vision Algorithms Engineer and Team Lead at RSIP Vision from 2013 to 2015, where they contributed to various computer vision projects in the commercial, medical, and defense sectors. Additionally, they co-founded Opservo in 2012 and served as the head of algorithms, working on developing algorithms for social network user detection.

Omri P. has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Psychology & Biology (Neuroscience) from Tel Aviv University. Omri also holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Neuroscience from Tel Aviv University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in February 2018, and in Natural Language Processing from Coursera in May 2012.
