Haus der Musik - The Sound Museum is an interactive experience museum in the heart of the city of music, Vienna. It presents the fascinating world of music and sound on four floors. The entire first floor is dedicated to the Vienna Philharmonic, the world-famous orchestra founded in 1842. But not only can visitors learn about the history and tradition of Viennese Classical music while they explore the 3rd floor of the Great Composers, they also get the chance to conduct the Vienna Philharmonic or compose their very own waltz.
Also, HdM lets everyone experiment with sound phenomena and marvel at giant instruments.
On the brand new floor, SONOTOPIA, visitors can even design their individual sound creatures in the state-of-the-art VR lab and bring them to life in a colorful Universe of Sound.
