John Puckey

John Puckey is an accomplished Events Co-ordinator at Hauser & Wirth since June 2016, focusing on music, arts, and community events within a leading global art gallery. As a portrait painter since August 2007, John Puckey has attracted an impressive roster of notable sitters and specializes in modern representational portraits using thick oil paint. Puckey has also been a Freelance Events Organiser for RAMM since July 2012, aiming to increase audience engagement in the arts. As the director of Cabaret Voltaire Devon since July 2008, Puckey promotes music and spoken word events, while previous roles include Events Manager and Festival Programmer at The Institute of Art and Ideas, where Puckey organized performances and exhibitions. Additional experience includes being a radio presenter for Terrier Productions, a DJ with a diverse music selection, and serving as Artist in Residence for the National Trust. John Puckey holds a degree in History of Art from the University of Bristol.
