Tom Spano has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. Tom started their career at Twitter in 2012 as a Marketing Specialist Events Manager, where they developed and executed the B2B Event Marketing program and managed a team of event professionals.
After Twitter, they worked at BrightRoll as a Sr. Manager, Social & Experiential Marketing for a brief period before moving on to SteelHouse as the Director of Event Marketing.
Tom then joined OpenX as the Director of Events in 2018, and in the same year, they became an Advisory Board Member of Dare to care for the Homeless.
In 2019, Tom Spano founded Haute Spot Development and became its Chief Executive Officer. The following year, they became the CEO of Haute Companies, overseeing Haute Spot and Haute Rock Entertainment.
In their recent role, Tom Spano served as the CEO of STG Media and also held the position of COO/CMO of Spark River Ent. at Spiderwood Studios.
Additionally, they co-founded Haute Community in 2017 and worked as an advisor to Goombal, where they evangelized an event management platform and created a social presence for the company.
Tom Spano began their education in 1987 at the School of Visual Arts, where they studied illustration and graphic design. Tom attended this school until 1989 when they transferred to Lesley University. At Lesley University, they continued their studies in illustration and graphic design until 1991. In that same year, Spano transferred again to Western Connecticut State University. At Western Connecticut State University, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Illustration/Graphic Design, which they anticipated completing in 1992.
