Alex Bertelli

Alex Bertelli has a wealth of experience in a variety of industries. Alex began their career in 2004 as a Financial Analyst at the Davis Center for Portfolio Management at the University of Dayton. In 2006, they joined the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) as a commissioned officer, platoon leader, company commander, and liaison officer. During their time there, they deployed nine times in support of special operations missions globally, and managed a 10,500 flying hour program, a $35 million training and administrative budget, and the employment of 38 special operations helicopters valued at over $1 billion. In 2014, they took on the role of Director of Business Development at the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. In 2017, they joined Amazon as a Pathways Operations Manager, responsible for 100+ direct reports in a large regional distribution facility. Alex then moved on to Asurion as a Senior Manager, responsible for pricing and analyzing major client offerings in the mobile tech insurance and support space. In 2018, they joined The Arrowhead Group, LLC as a Principal, and Afterburner as an Executive Consultant. In 2019, they became a Board Member at Acme Feed & Seed Nashville, and in 2022, they took on the role of Adjunct Instructor at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Finally, in 2014, they co-founded HavenLock, 10X Stronger Than Your Deadbolt, where they currently serve as the CEO.

Alex Bertelli earned their Bachelor of Finance from the University of Dayton in 2005. In 2006, they obtained their OH-58D Observation Helicopter Qualification from the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence and their Commercial Instrument Rotary Wing Certified from the FAA. Alex also completed the SERE C High Risk Survival School at JFKSWC Fort Bragg, NC in 2006 and obtained their MH-6C Helicopter Qualification from USASOAC in 2007. In 2007, they obtained their CH-47D Cargo Helicopter Qualification from the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence and in 2008, they obtained their MH-47G Heavy Assault Helicopter Qualification from USASOAC. In 2011, they obtained their Government Flight Representative (GFR) from DCMA. In 2012 and 2013, they completed the US Army Aviation Captains Career Course and Battalion Staff and Organizational Planning Course, respectively. In 2014, they obtained their LUH-72 Utility Helicopter Qualification from WAATS and their Senior Army Aviator from the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. In 2016, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School with a focus in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, & Operations and in 2017, they earned a Graduate Certificate from Penn State University in Consulting; Organization Development and Change. Alex also has a Black Belt in Taekwondo from 1992 and a TSIC/SCI Clearance from the United States Department of Defense.
