Jonathan Chao

Jonathan Chao is the Co-Founder and CEO of Haven, a financial technology company. Jonathan has over ten years of experience in the financial industry, including product management, actuarial analysis, and director-level positions.

Jonathan began their career as an actuary before transitioning into product management. In 2011, they joined Credit Karma as a Product Manager. Jonathan quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a Group Product Manager in 2015 and eventually the Director of Product Management in 2017. In early 2017, Jonathan also took on the role of GM of the personal loans vertical, driving revenue growth for the company.

In 2018, Jonathan left Credit Karma to join Plaid as a Product Lead for the Consumer Group. At Plaid, they built teams focused on consumer-facing products and surfaces. In 2020, Jonathan left Plaid to start Haven.

Haven is a financial technology company that makes it easier and safer for people to access the benefits of financial technology innovations. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, CA.

Jonathan Chao earned their Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley. Jonathan is certified as a Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance.
