Ankush Khandelwal

Ankush Khandelwal is a Machine Learning Engineer currently at Havenly since July 2024, after a brief tenure at MadMen AI. Prior to these roles, Ankush co-founded TERRA COVER, INC, serving as CTO from January 2020 to May 2024, focusing on utilizing AI/ML for responsive solutions to global water variability. Ankush's academic contributions include a position as a Researcher at the University of Minnesota, where extensive work involved developing multi-modal foundation models and addressing label noise in machine learning applications. Previous internships include positions at IBM T J Watson Research Center and NASA Ames Research Center, where Ankush explored multi-task learning and climate variation impacts on ecosystems, respectively. Educational achievements include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and a B.Tech + M.S. by Research from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad.
