Software Architect, Engineering Efficiency And Productivity at Haven Studios

Alexandre Ganea is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in game development and engineering efficiency. Currently serving as a Software Architect at Haven Studios Inc since July 2022, Alexandre also holds the title of Engine Architect. Prior to this role, Alexandre was a Senior Staff Programmer at Legion Labs, where responsibility included data pipeline and engine architecture for a cloud-based AAA game engine. A significant tenure at Ubisoft from January 2006 to October 2021 saw Alexandre as a Staff Software Architect, leading efforts on user-facing productivity and downstream fork of LLVM. Earlier career highlights include roles at DC Studios as Lead Programmer/R&D Architect, where Alexandre contributed to various GBA projects, and positions at Planet Interactive and Virtools focusing on GBA engines and programming tools. Alexandre began the career in programming at Zenops, working on an RPG game prototype. Education includes a DUT Informatique from Université Paris 8.
