Vella S. is an economist who provides data-driven and econometrics-backed analysis on topics including financial stability and international economics. They served as a Senior Economic Development Specialist at the National Economic and Development Authority in the Philippines from 2014 to 2017, and later as a Bank Economist at Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas from 2017 to 2023.
