Hand Arm Vibration has been a complex and difficult issue to address. However, progress over the last few years has been immense, with the introduction of lower vibration equipment, job rotation and training of operatives, all raising general HAV awareness. The publication of in-use vibration data by manufacturers and hire companies, has also helped build an understanding of the HAV issues within industry.

The solution has been greatly assisted by the introduction of the HAVi, which displays HSE points, actual trigger time exposure and the vibration magnitude of the equipment being used. This, together with the HAVi Manager, will ensure safer working and better controls when using vibrating equipment.

The HAVi a simple and effective low cost means to HAV compliance. It ensures that precious resources can be more effectively directed towards hiring and buying low vibration equipment, good quality consumables and health surveillance, all of which should form part of your corporate HAVS policy.

At the HAVi we believe in making HAV compliance simple, effective, engaging and affordable.
