We are a Norwegian producer of all natural sea salts. Our clean mineral-rich sea and dedication to quality gives our salt its great character, taste and personality. HAVSNØ [Snow of the SEA] is available in stores in Norway, Germany and USA and can be tasted in some of the worlds best restaurants.

HAVSNØ is a Norwegian sea salt company making artisan salts of the highest quality in a sustainable manner. On the island of Gossen in the North Atlantic tucked under the polar circle, the sea has always sustained life and we are proud to have reinvigorated Norway’s long salt traditions dating back to the Viking era.

Our seawater is clean and cold, our salt is mineral rich with a pronounced yet delicate flavour of the sea. Its taste and structure are loved by many of the best chefs at the forefront of the new Nordic cuisine.

Our goal is to be a staple on the kitchen counter of serious home cooks that care about food and the celebration every meal can be when surrounded by family and friends. The packaging of our products, including our blue box for retail, is a reflection of our belief that environmental packaging is the right choice to make.
