Jean Simatic is the co-founder and CTO of HawAI.tech, where they focus on developing asynchronous circuits to align with their belief in the superiority of the clock-free design paradigm. Since 2019, they have grown the team and secured funding to structure the company. Previously, Jean worked as a research engineer at Probayes in 2018 and was a PhD candidate in electronics at Laboratoire TIMA from 2014 to 2017, focusing on ultra-low power event-driven systems. Jean holds a PhD in Nanoelectronics from Communauté Université Grenoble Alpes and multiple engineering degrees from prestigious institutions, including École Polytechnique and ENSTA ParisTech.
