Raphaël Laurent

Raphaël Laurent has had a diverse work experience since 2010. Raphaël began with an internship at Inria in 2010. Raphaël then worked as a research engineer at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique in 2014, followed by a research engineer role at Probayes in 2015. Most recently, they have been a co-founding engineer at HawAI.tech since 2019, where they are developing dedicated hardware to accelerate probabilistic Artificial Intelligence algorithms.

Raphaël Laurent's education history includes a Diplôme d'ingénieur from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble in 2010, a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from the Université Grenoble Alpes in 2014, a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and the Web from the Université Grenoble Alpes in 2010, a Classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles from Lycée Saint Louis in 2007, and a Diplôme d'études musicales in Clarinette from the Conservatoire de Grenoble in 2016.
