Based in Honolulu, Oʻahu, HAWAI’I Magazine is the state’s only national/international magazine. It is also the largest paid circulation magazine in the state.

HAWAI‘I Magazine reaches Hawaiʻi enthusiasts locally, nationally and internationally. With each bimonthly issue, HAWAI‘I provides insight into how to experience the best the Islands have to offer. The magazine helps readers plan for new vacations and fondly remember past ones. Through our stories, readers experience Hawai‘i in more depth, gaining an understanding of Hawaii’s history, culture and landscape.

HAWAI‘I Magazine is predominantly subscriber based. We have 64.7K total circulation per issue, including subscribers and single copy sales at Barnes & Noble, Longs Drugs, Costco, Safeway, Foodland, key airport locations and other retail outlets throughout the U.S. Mainland and Hawaiʻi.

HAWAI‘I Magazine provides its more than 215,000 readers per issue with an intelligent and well-informed connection to the Islands. HAWAII Magazine was established in 1984. For 23 years, it was published in Southern California. In 2007, it joined the ʻohana (family) of magazines at aio Media, formerly PacificBasin Communications.
