Hawk Networks, Inc. is a pioneering telecommunications company transforming broadband and enterprise networks through sustainable, scalable network solutions and innovative fintech solutions. Founded in 2017 and built on years of research and development beginning in 2015, Hawk Networks developed the Althea protocol. This innovative system enables operators of all sizes, municipalities, and communities to fund, deploy and manage affordable, resilient telecom infrastructure.

At the heart of Althea is a fintech protocol that automates bandwidth payments using microtransactions, supports dynamic routing, and empowers communities and companies with tools for sovereignty, sustainability and resilience. The Althea tech stack leverages blockchain technology, and Hawk Networks has played an integral role in supporting the technology and blockchain ecosystems, such as Althea L1 and Gravity Bridge.

From rural areas to urban environments in the United States to global projects, Hawk Networks has demonstrated the ability to deploy robust connectivity in some of the world’s most challenging environments.

Under the leadership of CEO Deborah Simpier since 2020, Hawk Networks has scaled Althea-powered networks across more than ten U.S. states and internationally, launched private LTE/5G solutions using its lightweight KeyLTE/5G™ core, leveraged CBRS and licensed spectrum and built and supported fiber optic networks.

Hawk Networks' integrated stack—spanning billing, network management, wireless and fiber infrastructure—eliminates barriers to broadband deployment and fosters long-term operational sustainability.
