The average cost of a one-month stay in an Indiana nursing home is more than $6,870 (more than $80,000 annually).  Indiana nursing home care expenses have increased at an average annual inflation rate of 3% from July 1, 2002, through July 1, 2021. As the cost continues to rise, fewer families can afford long-term care in nursing home facilities.
