Christopher Shipman is an experienced attorney currently serving at HawkLaw since March 2023. Prior to this role, Christopher worked at the Greenville County Public Defender Office from July 2015 to March 2023 as an Assistant Public Defender, representing over 1000 clients in a range of charges from traffic offenses to murder. Christopher also held positions as an Assistant Public Defender at the Richland County Public Defender Office and the Sumter County Public Defender Office, handling cases involving various misdemeanors and felonies. Christopher holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of South Carolina School of Law (2009-2012) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wofford College (2001-2005).
