Yara Askar

Yara Askar has extensive experience in search engine optimization and digital marketing, currently serving as Lead Strategist and Search Engine Optimization Manager at HawkSEM since August 2020. Previously, Yara held roles as Search Engine Optimization Team Lead and SEO Strategist at lilikoi agency, as well as Marketing Specialist at LendingUSA. Early in the career, Yara contributed as a Digital Marketing Specialist at RallyUp.com, Inc., and gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Arizona, where involvement included the Gaza Corpus Project. Yara's background also includes customer service and logistical support as an Admissions Aid and an intern with the International Rescue Committee. Yara earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Journalism and Middle Eastern and North African Studies from the University of Arizona in 2015.
