Hardus Richter

Hardus Richter is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and AI technologies. Currently a Senior AI Engineer at Hawktivity since May 2023, Hardus leads the development of machine learning models and computer vision solutions for the retail, vision, and manufacturing industries. Prior to this role, Hardus served as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Polymorph Systems, where responsibilities included developing machine learning models for retail and service sectors. Earlier experience includes working as a Machine Learning Engineer at ASIC Design Services, focusing on deep learning platforms for FPGAs, and serving as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Pretoria. Hardus holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering, a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Pretoria.
