Director Of Electrical Engineering at HAX

Michael Moon has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Michael began their career as a Firmware Engineer at CSIRO, where they developed robotics research for the Energy & Mining department. In 2009, they took on a role as a Developer at Evolved Websites. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an R&D Engineer at Trinity Labs and an Electrical/Firmware Engineer at Byron Bay Automotive and Medical. During this time, they also worked as a Mobile App Developer at Mosoga Pty Ltd. In 2015, they held positions as a Systems Architect at Ebotic Inc. and a Director at Juuk, Inc. Since 2017, they have worked as a Director of Electrical Engineering at HAX, responsible for guiding and advising multiple engineering teams building innovative hardware and IoT products. Michael has also held a role as a Firmware Engineer at Amber Agriculture since 2017.

Michael Moon has a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which they have largely self-taught since 1988. Michael also attended Kelvin Grove High School in Brisbane, Australia from 1998 to 2000. In addition, they obtained a Laser Safety Officer (Level 1) certification from Laser Safety Services (Australia) in April 2015, and a Certificate 1 in Engineering from TAFE Qld in 2000.
