Jayesh Patel

Jayesh Patel is an experienced leader in information security and data protection, currently serving as Director of Information Security and Data Protection at Hays since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jayesh held the position of Chief Information Security and Data Privacy Officer at Oxford University Press from August 2019 to April 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing cyber and data security strategy, risk management, and compliance. Previous roles include CISO and Head of Data Protection at Save the Children International, as well as various positions at Accenture UK, Barclays, Wipro Technologies, and others, focusing on information security consulting, risk management, and implementation of security frameworks. Jayesh holds an MBA from Amravati University and completed a strategy program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
