Steve Harper

Steve Harper is the Partner and Head of Social Purpose at HaysMac, focusing on auditing and advising a wide range of charity and education clients. They have specialized in the charity and not-for-profit sector since 2009, developing a deep understanding of key issues and regulations. Harper has acted as audit partner and advisor to various organizations, including international charities and independent schools, and has led numerous audits and reviews. A Chartered Accountant, Harper also holds the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA) and has shared insights on donor audit pitfalls and not-for-profit budgeting through speaking engagements and published articles. Outside of work, they have served in several trustee roles, enhancing their perspective and empathy in client interactions.
