Benjamin Dean

Benjamin Dean is a seasoned entrepreneur and data analytics expert, currently serving as the Founder of Haystack since August 2016, where the focus is on creating an innovative super-app for in-person shopping to enhance the brick-and-mortar retail experience. Prior to this role, Benjamin Dean was the Chief Analyst in the Mayor's Office of Data Analytics for the City of New York under Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, where the analytics team was recognized by President Obama for its contributions to local government innovation. Benjamin Dean also held the title of Chief Analyst for the Financial Crime Task Force in New York City. Educationally, Benjamin Dean holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management, Marketing, and Operations Management from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economics from Pomona College.
