Roy Nelson, RCSP

Roy Nelson, RCSP has a wealth of experience in the eDiscovery industry. Roy currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development at HaystackID, where they specialize in assisting companies and law firms with complex investigations and litigation by leveraging data. Prior to joining HaystackID, Roy worked as the SVP of US Sales at FRONTEO USA, where they offered global solutions for ESI, Managed Review, and Managed Services. Roy also worked as the Executive Vice President and Managing Partner at Advanced Discovery, where they played a key role in expanding the company's services and establishing a presence in New York through an acquisition. Before that, Roy held positions as a Senior Account Executive at Merrill Legal Solutions, a Managing Director at Advanced Discovery, and a Senior Account Executive at On Site E Discovery. Roy began their career at DocuServe (now Merrill Legal Solutions) as an Account Manager. Additionally, Roy gained valuable experience in the legal industry as an Assistant Managing Clerk and Law Clerk at Coudert Brothers LLP. With their extensive background in eDiscovery and a track record of driving business growth, Roy has established himself as a seasoned professional in the field.

Roy Nelson, RCSP, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors, summa cum laude, in Anthropology, Archaeology, and Earth and Planetary Sciences from The University of New Mexico in 2000. In 2001, they enrolled at UNM Anderson School of Management and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing Management in 2003. Additionally, Roy Nelson obtained a certification as a Relativity Certified Sales Pro (RCSP) from Relativity in October 2019. In 2000, they also participated in the Archaeology Field School at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
