Kyle Thompson

Kyle Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies and positions. Kyle recently joined Haystack as a Principal Software Engineer in January 2024, after previously serving as a Senior Mobile Engineer and a Mobile Engineer at the same company. Prior to Haystack, they worked at Kazoo as a Senior Software Engineer, where they played a key role in building and releasing the Microsoft Teams integration and contributed to the ADP integration. Kyle also worked as a Software Engineer, Mobile at Kazoo, where they built the Android application and contributed to the iOS application. Before Kazoo, Kyle worked as a Mobility Consultant/Developer at Five Pack Creative, a Software Engineer at icitizen, and a Software Engineer at Prairie Cloudware, Inc. At Prairie Cloudware, they were responsible for mobile development and developed an Android payment SDK. Kyle's early career includes a role as an Assistant Manager/Sales Associate at Warming Hut Inc. and an internship at PepsiCo in Unix Production Services and Backup and Recovery. Overall, Kyle has gained extensive experience in software engineering, mobile development, and team leadership throughout their career.

Kyle Thompson attended Collin College from 2009 to 2013, studying Computer Science. Kyle then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of North Texas, from 2011 to 2013.
