Will O'Brien

Will O'Brien has worked in the engineering and software development field since 2001. Will began their career as a System Administrator at Eduserv before moving to Apertio in 2005 as a Senior Software Developer. At LogicaCMG they worked as a Consultant before joining Teradata in 2007 as a Principal Engineer, IoTA. In this role they led a Java based micro-service architecture and implemented ELT pipelines. In 2016 they were promoted to Director, RainStor Query Development and worked with the team until the company was acquired by Teradata in 2014. In 2017 they moved to Volo as a Lead Software Developer and worked closely with the solution architect and SLT to produce a stage 1 solution using machine learning and artificial intelligence. In 2018 they joined Edge Intelligence as a Senior Software Developer and developed customised PostgreSQL for high performance ingestion of massive distributed data loads. Finally, in 2019 they joined Adarga Limited as a Principal Engineer and worked over the entire range of engineering. Will is currently employed at Hazy as a Principal Engineer.

Will O'Brien attended Monks Park Comprehensive from 1992 to 1999. Will then attended University of Bath from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a 2 (i) in Computer Science.
