HB Public Law is a dynamic public sector legal practice, working for six local authorities, schools and other public bodies in London, Buckinghamshire and the Thames Valley.

Our shared service model means that clients benefit from lawyers who are passionate about public service and have deep specialist knowledge and experience. We make public money go further and are committed to making a difference for the communities that we serve. 

Formed in 2012, initially servicing Harrow and Barnet councils, we have expanded in the intervening years and have over 150 lawyers based at our offices in Harrow and Aylesbury.

We are ambitious about our development and embrace innovation and change. We are a founder member of the forward thinking London Boroughs’ Legal Alliance, have created the first private/public partnership of its kind with private sector law firm Bevan Brittan and have an ABS licence to enable us to work for private sector organisations.
