Jimmy Smith

Jimmy Smith has extensive experience in calibration and operations management, currently serving as the Head of Calibration, Repair & Rental-Americas at HBK - Hottinger Brüel & Kjær since April 2012, overseeing the Calibration Laboratory, Repair Department, and Warehouse function. Prior to this role, Jimmy was the National Calibration Laboratory Manager at Bruel & Kjaer North America, Inc. from January 2006 to April 2012, where responsibilities included managing the Calibration Laboratory and achieving ISO9001 registration and ISO17025 accreditation. Jimmy's career began as a Calibration Technician at Bruel & Kjaer North America, Inc. from August 1993 to January 2006, focusing on the calibration of various instruments and maintaining compliance through internal audits. Additionally, Jimmy served as a Calibration Technician in the US Army from September 1988 to August 1993, calibrating electronic and physical dimensional equipment.
