Lela Alvarez

Lela Alvarez is a writer, translator, and educator with a diverse background in communication and language. They worked as a writer and section editor at Mundo Hispanico from 2006 to 2008, and later served as an instructor at Stony Brook University and Georgia State University. Lela's experience includes roles as a Spanish instructor at El Patio Spanish Language School and a teaching associate at Monash University. Currently, they work as a product owner at HBK - Hottinger Brüel & Kjær after previously serving as a translation coordinator there. Lela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and a Master’s in Spanish Language and Literature from Georgia State University, along with advanced graduate coursework from Stony Brook University.
