David Rutherford

David Rutherford has extensive work experience in the field of IT and software development. David has held various leadership roles, including Senior Director of Software Development at HC3 since October 2022, Director of Digital Product Development at HC3 from January 2020 to October 2022, and System Architect at HC3 from January 2019 to January 2020. In these positions, David provided technical guidance, developed client requested features, and designed and implemented release management pipelines.

Prior to their role at HC3, David worked as the Director of IT at M5 Management Services, Inc. from June 2014 to August 2016. In this role, they were responsible for managing network and website administration and leading a team of developers and web designers. David also designed and developed the ROSE repair order analysis suite, which has been used in more than 500 automotive dealerships.

Before M5 Management Services, David served as the Director of IT at Applied Transportation Concepts, Inc. from December 2006 to May 2014. In this position, they implemented IT policies, developed software for improving service department efficiency, and maintained corporate websites and software.

David also has work experience as a CTO at 3 Romans from July 1999 to June 2005, where they led multimedia project development and managed a team of programmers. David worked as a Lead Developer at Silverfish Studios from November 1998 to July 1999 and as a Network Engineer at Southern Network Services from September 1997 to November 1998.

Additionally, David started their career as a Service Technician at Computer Vision from February 1997 to September 1997, providing network support and maintenance.
