David Thompson

David Thompson is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in sales and customer success across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Global General Manager for GTM Sales & Customer Success at HCL Software, David oversees sales and technical teams in 140 countries. As the Founder and CEO of Red x Red, David is dedicated to making personal aircraft transportation accessible through innovative aviation solutions, drawing on 20 years of pilot experience. Previously, at IBM, David held several key roles, including Global Head of Digital Experience, where leadership of a $750M division and a global team of 165 members was achieved. David has a strong track record of transforming underperforming businesses and driving significant growth, including during tenure at IBM Tivoli Software and Boots, where strategic management resulted in sustained revenue increases. David holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the British Army.
