Matthew Burns

Matthew Burns is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the software and security sectors. Currently serving as Associate Vice President and Global Director for HCL BigFix in the Asia Pacific and Japan region since September 2019, Matthew has held multiple leadership roles focused on software solutions and security operations. Prior experience at IBM from September 2008 to August 2019 includes serving as Business Unit Executive for IBM Security Software and overseeing sales for IBM Endpoint Manager across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. Earlier roles at Fujitsu involved project management and business development across the Asia Pacific region. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Systems and Software Engineering from Griffith University.
