Sahil Kumar

Sahil Kumar is a data engineer with a diverse background in game and simulation development, embedded systems, educational technologies, bioinformatics methods in genomics, and business analytics. They have held positions ranging from IT assistant at District 211 to senior data science engineer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas. Sahil has contributed to projects at Syngenta, where they led efforts to improve crop maturity identification through machine learning, and at Central Coast Agriculture, Inc., managing a data science team while implementing a data ETL pipeline infrastructure. Sahil obtained both a Master of Science in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
