Sean Mason is a data science and data engineering practitioner with extensive experience in software engineering and research programming. They held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Optiver and Getco LLC, and contributed as a Research Programmer at both Northwestern University and the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. Sean also served as a Senior Research Software Engineer at Dataware Ventures and advanced to Senior Data Engineer at Belvedere Trading, LLC. Currently, they are a Lead Data Science Engineer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas while pursuing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Sean previously completed a Master of Science in Data Science at Northwestern University.
