Summer Collins is the Associate Vice President of Design and Innovation at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas, a position held since 2017. Previously, they served as Vice President of Population Health at Children's Health System of Texas from 2013 to 2016, and as Director of Community Health Research at the Dallas Fort Worth Hospital Council Foundation from 2010 to 2013. Summer also worked as a Senior Researcher/Epidemiologist at OMNI Institute from 2006 to 2009. They hold a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Columbia University and an Executive Program in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University. Additionally, Summer is currently the Managing Principal at The Lazuli Group.
