Yarmeka Johnson

Yarmeka Johnson, PharmD, is a Clinical Pharmacist with extensive experience in pharmacy compliance and operations management. They began their career as a Managed Care Pharmacy Resident at Kaiser Permanente and later worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at Futurescripts, where they supported specialty pharmacy programs and provided drug information. Yarmeka managed pharmacy compliance at Independence Blue Cross from 2009 to 2016 before taking on the role of Manager of Operations at Cigna-HealthSpring, where they focused on process improvements and compliance standards. Currently, Yarmeka serves as Unit Manager of Operations for Part D PBM Oversight at Health Care Service Corporation. They hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Temple University School of Pharmacy.
