Cheryl King, LCSW, CSW, is an experienced licensed clinical social worker with a diverse background in various clinical settings. Cheryl's career includes roles as a Clinical Social Worker at Central Florida Kidney Centers, where responsibilities included assisting dialysis patients and families, and serving as an Intake Specialist at Central Florida Behavioral, coordinating outpatient care. As the founder and therapist at Cheryl King Counseling, LLC, Cheryl provides quality counseling services aimed at client well-being and personal growth. Previous experience as a Military & Family Life Counselor at Magellan Behavioral Health involved creating support groups for military students, while work at AMN Healthcare focused on collaborating with community liaisons and providing counseling in emergency settings. Cheryl holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida and has also contributed to outreach efforts for justice-involved veterans. Currently, Cheryl continues to provide psychosocial assessments and counseling through HCTec.
