Marketing Manager at HD PLUS

Lena Tap has a diverse and extensive work experience. Lena is currently employed as a Marketing Manager at HD PLUS GmbH since November 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the Owner of Pitlanes Marketing & Events, a sports-focused full-service agency, from April 2017 to December 2019. At Pitlanes Marketing & Events, Lena was responsible for developing marketing, event, and sponsorship campaigns for clients such as Discovery Communications Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, Eurosport, and the RR Group GmbH.

Before their role at Pitlanes Marketing & Events, Lena worked as a Marketing Communications Specialist at Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. from August 2015 to April 2017. Lena also served as the Marketing Manager Germany at Albelli from February 2015 to July 2015, where they oversaw marketing activities for the European market.

Lena's earlier experiences include working as a Project Manager Motorsports at Racing Rules Motortainment from April 2011 to February 2015. Lena also worked as a Freelance Event Manager, coordinating marketing activities for (motorsport) events for clients such as BMW, Hankook Tire, Eurosport, Google, and Ansell from 2012 to 2015.

Furthermore, Lena worked at Eurosport, where they held multiple roles. From February 2009 to September 2014, they served as an On-Screen Editor, responsible for creating and editing TV programme sites and managing social media activities. From June 2006 to February 2009, they worked as a Marketing & PR Assistant, handling press releases, organizing press events, and managing internal and external communication.

Lena also gained experience as an intern at W. L. Gore & Associates, where they were involved in event management and brand communication for the European Outdoor Film Tour (EOFT) and Gore-Tex/Windstopper from September 2010 to March 2011. Lena started their career as an Office Communication Assistant at Tax office Dirks - Moelbert - Schulz from 2001 to 2004.

Lena Tap began their education in 2007 when they enrolled at the German Academy of Public Relations (DAPR). Lena studied Public Relations at DAPR for a year before moving on to further their studies in another field.

In 2009, Lena started pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration & Marketing at the University of Applied Sciences Munich. Lena dedicated five years to this program and successfully completed it in 2014.

During their time at university, Lena also took the opportunity to explore different academic settings. From 2011 to 2012, they attended Linnaeus University, where they studied Business Administration for a year.
