Maggie Nelson, LSW, currently serves as a CTSS Practitioner and Child and Family Case Manager at HDC since March 2022, providing therapeutic supports to children and families while coordinating necessary services based on individual needs. Prior experience includes roles as a Psychiatric Technician at PrairieCare, Behavior Specialist at Integrity Living Options, and Direct Support Professional at Red River Human Services Foundation. Maggie Nelson also completed an internship with the Fargo Moorhead Coalition for Homeless Persons. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University Moorhead, earned in December 2017.

The Human Development Center (HDC) is a community mental health center providing behavioral health care to the residents of Carlton, Cook, Lake, and southern St. Louis counties in Minnesota and Douglas County, Wisconsin.
