Benjamin Ellis

Benjamin Ellis, PE, PMP, LEED AP, currently serves as the Building Engineering Services Business Group Manager at HDR, where responsibilities include overseeing project delivery across multiple engineering disciplines and coordinating efforts with Business Group Managers throughout the East Coast. Previously, Benjamin held roles such as Florida Building Engineering Services Business Group Leader and Civil Section Manager at HDR, focusing on team development, project pursuits, and internal client relationships. Additionally, Benjamin has contributed to the sustainability efforts of the City of Winter Park as Chair of the Keep Winter Park Beautiful/Sustainability Advisory Board and served on the Board of Directors for the USGBC Central Florida Chapter. Prior experience includes leadership roles at S&ME, Inc., Weaver Boos Consultants, VHB MillerSellen, and Dunn Engineering, culminating in a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a Business Minor from the University of Florida.
