Blane Long

Blane Long is a seasoned professional in value engineering and risk management, currently serving as the Director of Value Engineering/Risk Management Advisory Services at HDR, a position held since February 2010. Prior to HDR, Blane Long worked for the Washington State Department of Transportation from August 1983 to February 2010, where responsibilities included serving as State Value Engineering Manager, State Project Development Training Manager, and various roles such as Lead Designer and Plan Reviewer & Construction Inspector. Blane Long holds an Associate of Arts in Civil Engineering Technology/Technician and an Associate of Arts in Forestry Technology, both from Centralia College, completed between 1978 and 1982.
