Jay Aber, P.E., PTOE, is a Senior Traffic Engineer at HDR and has extensive experience in transportation engineering. Previously, they worked as a Transportation Engineer at Lutjen, Inc., where they conducted traffic impact studies and managed roadway design and construction from 2008 to 2016. Prior to that, Jay interned at the Kansas Department of Transportation, focusing on traffic forecasts and GIS software. They have also held roles at WSP as a Senior Lead Traffic Engineer and have engaged as a thought leader in transportation safety and planning. Jay holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering and Modern Languages from Kansas State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
