John Parrish

John Parrish is a Senior Civil Engineer at HDR, specializing in hydraulics and large distribution networks. They have extensive experience conducting feasibility studies, dam breach analysis, and economic evaluations within the hydropower group at HDR since 2006. Prior to this role, John coauthored software titles CS2 and CanalCAD and worked as a consulting engineer from 1997 to 2005, including international projects in Morocco and trade delegations in Cairo and Casablanca. John holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering, both from Utah State University and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, respectively, with a prior M.S. in Engineering from Utah State University.
