Julia MacKey

Julia Mackey is a Transportation Engineer-in-Training (EIT) at HDR, where responsibilities include utility coordination, specifications writing, and public involvement support for Oregon DOT and local agencies, while assisting the Engineering Project Manager. Previously, Julia served as a Recruitment Specialist for NCSA College Recruiting and worked at the Washington State Department of Transportation as a Construction Inspector, participating in Seattle's SR520 Montlake Design Build Project. Additionally, Julia held the position of Design Engineer, coordinating design reviews and assisting in project procurement for the SR509 Design Build project. Prior experience includes representing BIP USA as a professional athlete, interning at the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, tutoring mathematics at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and engaging in community programs as a student volunteer. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage, completed in 2017.
