Li Philips

Li Philips is a Marine Scientist and Environmental Scientist at HDR since October 2020, following a career that includes significant roles in marine science and environmental education. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from August 2015 to August 2017, where Li independently taught laboratory sections of a Geography 100-level class. Prior to that, experience as a Divemaster and Senior Deckhand at Waikiki Ocean Club LLC from July 2011 to August 2015 involved managing safety and guest experiences during various open-water activities. Early career highlights include a role as a Data Analyst with NOAA, focusing on seafloor video analysis, and a position as a Sales Associate and Reservationist at Aqua Zone Scuba Diving & Snorkeling. Li holds a Master's degree in Geography and Environment and a Bachelor's degree in Geography, both from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and completed the International Baccalaureate Program at Prem Tinsulanonda International School.
